Privacy policy

ENGAZE LTD (company number 17552745, registered office 124-128 City Road, London, England, EC1V 2NX), trading as engaze / Bottle Neck Solutions ("we"), is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Contact us through our contact form.

What we collect

Your answers in the diagnostic chat (information about your business and its processes), your name, role, work email and, optionally, phone number.

Why we use it (lawful basis)

To prepare and deliver your diagnosis and any report you request (consent and steps prior to entering a contract), and, only if you opt in, to send occasional marketing emails (consent).

AI processing

Your answers are processed by Anthropic's Claude AI models to generate your diagnosis. Anthropic acts as our processor and does not use this data to train its models.

Optional extras in the diagnosis

  • If you give us your website, our server reads its homepage once to draft a short summary for you to check. We don't keep the page; the summary you confirm is kept with your diagnosis.
  • If you tick "Remind me to re-check in 30 and 90 days", we keep your email address, the date and your tapped answers (no free text) to send two reminders. We delete them after the 90-day email, or straight away if you unsubscribe.
  • Anonymised numbers help us build benchmarks: for each diagnosis we keep your industry, the rough rates worked out from the ranges you tapped, the stage and the month, with no name, email, company, website or written answers. Once enough businesses of a kind have taken part, we show the middle figures back to them.
  • If you send the numbers questions to a colleague, we use their email address once to send the link and don't keep it. The invite, your note and their answers are deleted after 14 days; their four numbers stay with the diagnosis they were for.
  • If you upload reports, each is read once by Anthropic's Claude to find your numbers and is not kept: we never store the file. For a large PDF, your browser pulls out the text first and only that text is sent. If you use the mic, your browser's own speech recognition turns your speech into text (some browsers, such as Chrome, do this on their maker's servers); we only receive the text you then send.

Service providers we use

These companies process personal data on our behalf, only to run this service:

  • Netlify: hosts this website, receives the forms you send through it, and stores completed diagnoses
  • Anthropic: runs the Claude AI models that hold the diagnostic chat and prepare your diagnosis
  • Resend: sends the emails about your diagnosis
  • Stripe: processes card payments for the detailed report
  • Cal.com: provides the booking calendar when you book a call with one of our consultants

Cookies and storage

This site doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies, and doesn't run analytics. What it does store:

  • Your diagnosis chat and your free results are saved in your browser's own storage on your device for up to 7 days, so you can pick up where you left off. After that they are deleted automatically, and “Start over” clears them straight away. This copy stays on your device.
  • If you book a call, the booking calendar is provided by Cal.com, which sets its own cookies. If you pay for a report, Stripe Checkout sets its own cookies to process the payment securely.

How long we keep it

Diagnosis data is kept for up to 24 months unless you become a client, then for the life of the contract plus 6 years.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can request access to, correction or deletion of your data, object to processing, or withdraw consent at any time by sending us a message through our contact form. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Sharing

We never sell your data. We share it only with the service providers listed above, as needed to run this service (hosting, AI processing, email, payments and bookings).
